Green hydrogen, a new field with potential but also full of challenges

On the occasion of the inauguration of the National Innovation Center in Hoa Lac, right at NIC Hoa Lac Facility, the exhibition takes place for 5 days (from October 28 to November 1), VIIE 2023 is organized on an international scale. Coming to VIIE 2023, attendees will directly admire the future technology picture from leading domestic and foreign innovative technology enterprises.

Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2203) aims to create a space for exchanging and sharing leading innovative ideas and products. The exhibition creates interaction and connection between businesses and the community, inspires and explores innovation capacity, and opens up potential cooperation opportunities.

From booths introducing and promoting advanced technology products and solutions revolving around 8 key areas of NIC including: smart factory, smart city, digital content, cyber security, semiconductor industry, environmental technology, hydrogen technology and medical technology, to modern multi-sensory technology experience areas, where technology products and applications are vividly demonstrated: Eco Valley green space, light tunnel and innovative city.

In the largest innovation space in Vietnam, VIIE 2023 has about 200 booths with the participation of many large-scale and prestigious technology enterprises in Vietnam such as Viettel, VNPT, Sovico, Masan, Becamex, VinFast; leading innovative technology enterprises in the world such as SK, Samsung, SpaceX, Google, Meta, Intel, Signify, John Cokerill, and typical startups.

At the same time, the exhibition also has booths from major research institutions and universities such as Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Can Tho University, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Network of Innovation and Startup Centers at universities...

On the same day, the Samsung Innovation Campus lab and the Chip Design Incubation Center were officially inaugurated. The Samsung Innovation Campus lab demonstrates the Korean corporation's commitment to actively supporting NIC to become a cradle for training technology talents, leading the country's future innovation. The Chip Design Incubation Center is a step to realize the agreement between Synopsys and NIC signed last September to develop talented chip design human resources in Vietnam. The Prime Minister and delegates visited and inaugurated the lab and incubation center.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, there are many other activities taking place such as: Specialized seminars on Hydrogen, semiconductors, medical technology, games and esport competitions; Vietnam Venture Summit - VVS; STEAM Festival; Better Choice Awards Gala...

The event affirms the role of the Ministry of Planning and Investment as an advisory body to the Government on socio-economic development strategies, growth model innovation, in which NIC is a pioneer in the innovation journey.

Along with that, the participation of corporations and innovative technology enterprises will create the attraction of satellite enterprises, an effective innovation ecosystem, creating a spillover effect, arousing aspirations and motivation for startups and innovative individuals to create advanced technologies, breakthrough solutions, making a mark on the world technology map.
